For Children

We offer for our children about 3-4  story hours throughout the year. We usually plan them around the various holidays such as Halloween, Easter, Valentines and then we have a New Years Eve story hour where the children are invited to bring in a favorite game or we have some in the library and they get to have their own New Years Eve party. The snack time consists of what you might serve at a New Years Eve party.

We offer the Summer Reading program to the children where they can read and earn points or prizes for their accomplishments. We also offer during our summer program bike safety. We have an officer from the county sheriff office come out and do a safety program for the children and then he will check their helmets and also run them through an obstacle course.

We also have a wonderful corner sit up for the children where they sit and look at books and decide which ones they might like to check out.
